Local LAN Parties

The BadLANs is one of the first true LAN parties T][S ever attended, and we haven't regretted it since. If you're looking for one of the best LAN experiences in the northeast with some of the coolest staff/players around, look no further!

LanChelms
LanChelms is a local LAN in Massachusetts. While it's a bit far for us to drive, it's easily one of the most professional/problem-free LANs we've ever been to, and as such won't make us hesitate going to their future parties. Highly recommended!

Pop'n'Fresh
Pop'n'Fresh is a LAN operating out of Connecticut. Good times and a good party for those of you out near UConn.

Humor

Red Vs. Blue
Easily the best Machinima series ever produced and funny as hell to boot, RvB Season 1: The Blood Gulch Chronicles is a must-see for HALO and gaming fans alike.

Penny Arcade
Yet another weekly comic/site that Kevlar attends religiously. Penny Arcade has been around since 1998 and its staying power/popularity is matched only by how intelligent the gaming humor can be.

The Onion
If you surf the net a lot and don't know what The Onion is, you may as well leave this site. Yes, right now. Shoo.

Something Awful
Something Awful is definitely the twisted-freak-living-in-a-basement version of all the above sites... But there's something strangely compelling about it.

NewGrounds
While NewGrounds is sort of an entity all its own, requiring lots of explanation, the Flash shorts you can find on there are priceless for their wit. Well, mostly. Sometimes. In any case, a RatBastid favorite.

Homestar Runner
Homestarrunner.com is easily one of the funniest sites on the net. If you're never seen Strong Bad in action before, go there now and do yourself a favor.

Monsters In Motion
Monstersinmotion.com is one of the most comprehensive (and expensive) toy and replica sites on the 'Net. Check it out!
