Kevlar is one such example of cross-training; he can handle most support and piloting roles but his primary role in his squad is defense and he is rarely beaten in tests of marksmanship. Further, his technical skills have grown and in the time T][S has been in operation he has designed numerous battle systems for the squad, including this one.
