About Us:
T][S,
or "The Survivors" (among many other names), is a LAN
group operating out of Rhode Island. We participate in local LAN
parties and may host future LAN parties of our own. In the meantime,
see the FAQ below, contact us using our contact info or register
in our forums.

The
T][S FAQ:
1.
Who are you and what does T][S stand for?
T][S
is a Rhode Island-based LAN crew. We participate in most local events
and
have been on the scene in some form for at least 6 years. T][S officially
stands for "The Survivors" to reflect our breaking away
from and forming an independent group of the previous event we were
all a part of. Unofficially, T][S has a variety of meanings, the
most popular being "Tuff Shit" to describe our conditioning
after 6 years of gaming.
2.
So you're just another clan, then?
No.
T][S is a "crew", in a sense of the word more than a clan
and involved in more than gaming. T][S members play sports together,
work out together, and sometimes don't game at all. We are friends
first and gamers second.
3.
Can I join?
Sorry,
but no. T][S since its inception has not recruited and will not
be recruiting in the near future. If anything, invitations to join
will be handed out on a very limited basis when applicable. Don't
bother asking to join - if we decide to expand the crew in the future
we will ask you.
4.
Are you available for scrims/matches? Do you compete?
In
a general sense, no. T][S does not meet online often - as said previously,
we are a LAN crew. However, we have scrimmed in the past and would
be open to the idea at least. However, we do not compete online.
Local RI-based events are our main focus for "competition"
and we are fairly successful (see the News for recent T][S winnings).
But competition is also not our goal.
5.
Then what is your goal?
Mach
3, hair on fire, railgun in hand and flag on back. Fun is our main
goal with T][S and likely always will be. No one has ever won in
a national tournament, but our members have LANned as far away as
Canada and the midwest just for fun. It is the pursuit of Gaming
Goodness that you should be interested in as well. If you're not
here for that, we advise you to go to another site - you won't find
much else here.
6.
When's your next party?

7.
You guys suck. How do I get off your mailing list?
Email
us at admins@ts-lan-crew.com
and
tell us what email addresses you'd like removed. Knob.
8.
How come j00 h8 CS?
We
don't hate Counter-Strike, per se, and we can't stop people
from playing it but at any and all T][S events you can guarantee
we will not run a tournament in it and you'll have to support it
with your own servers.
Simply put, Counter-Strike is a good game... But we prefer new titles
to older ones. Check out some of the other games we'll have on tap
at the LAN!
Thanks
for taking the time to read about us. If you have further questions
or would like to discuss upcoming events and scrim opportunities,
